- Pickup confirmed
- Your plot
- Available nest
- Hatch result
The basket is not the hatch result
After pickup, the Egg Basket tells you what you are carrying. Take the egg back to your own plot and interact with a usable nest. Do not confuse a carried egg with a completed pet hatch: inspect the result and then check your Pets collection.
- No pickup confirmation?
Read the basket and the interaction prompt. If you already hold an egg, deal with that first. An egg can be visible without the pickup completing.
- No place to hatch?
Check the nests on your plot. Resolve an occupied nest before leaving on another hunt. Being next to another player's ranch does not give you space on your own plot.
- No finished pet yet?
Check the nest's progress or prompt and wait for the hatch to finish. Look at the Pets entry after the result instead of treating the egg animation as the end of the process.
Repeated attempts are not a promise
A rare result may take many hatches. The hatch probability calculator answers a narrow question: with a fixed effective chance and independent attempts, what is the probability of at least one success? It does not infer the egg's pool or convert Index rarity into your actual hatch chance.
Inspect the trait, then assign the pet
A new pet can have a hatch mutation. Read its actual label and stats, then decide whether it improves your mount or ranch. Keep a pet required by your next Rebirth until you have read the reset screen. Selling first and planning later can turn a ready reset into another hunt.
Check the independent hatch estimate to compare attempt budgets, then use the Rebirth readiness checklist before selling a required pet.
