Four mainland areas to check
| Area | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Waterfall cave | Raised platforms, crystal recesses and cliffs at the far opening |
| Giant Tree | Upper wooden hollow and high branches |
| Grey mountain | Follow the stream outside the waterfall cave, then continue along the mountain edge toward its opening |
| Desert | Pyramid interior and the lower maze reached from the nearby pond |
These are reported mainland search areas. Event spawns can appear elsewhere: a Solaris pickup is also shown at the volcano during an admin session. Do not treat the four areas as an exclusive list for every update or event.
Prepare the paths before the announcement
Learn one route from each nearby landmark back to your own plot. Check the high tree hollow without an egg, practise the cave exit and learn how to leave the maze. The shared rare-egg landmark guide explains the cave and desert connections.
Choose an area using your current position and any useful radar direction. A fast mount saves travel time, but repeated wrong turns can erase that gain. The mount comparison steps help you test the path consistently.
Read the timer you actually have
Hurry when a Solaris announcement appears. After pickup, follow the carry countdown and return to a free nest. A claim that every Solaris vanishes exactly 20 seconds after world spawn is not a safe planning assumption. Enter the visible timer in the run planner instead.
Once home, use the hatching checklist. Egg identity and your final pet result are different questions; a luck boost is not a guarantee of the pet you want.
